Review: Amorphis - The Beginning Of Times

From their very beginning, Amorphis were quite diverse. In their 21 years of existence they have gone from death metal, to progressive, folk, even more psychedelic rock. Now they have returned with their tenth full-length album, “The Beginning Of Times”. The title, though, doesn't do justice to the album, as Amorphis aren't going back to their death metal roots.

Review: Believer - Transhuman

When we are talking about progressive metal, we expect, besides the more technical part, some experimentation on each level. There are very few bands that can achieve that and not fall into the trap of repeating themselves on each album. Believer is one of these bands.

Between The Lines: Nevermore - What Tomorrow Knows

Dreams lie smashed again
They've pinned your back to the wall
Like faded pictures of what might have been
Fate is cruel when dreams, like candles, fade
Smashed again down into the gray
Despise for a world turned cold
No one sees what tomorrow knows
